Tournament Information and Registration

LOCATION:  San Jose, CA

DATES: Friday, July 5th - Sunday, July 7th, 2024

DIVISIONS:  18 Wood, 25 Wood, 35 Wood, 45 Wood, 50 Wood,

(A division will occur if four teams register by the entry fee deadline. Extra Divisions may be created or merged based on the number of teams entered.)

THIS IS AN OPEN TOURNAMENT, and all teams are welcome!

POOL PLAYER FEE:  $115

PLAYOFFS:  Semifinals either Saturday evening or Sunday morning.

ENTRY FEE:

Team Fee - NABA League Team:

$1795.00 - Team fee for 15 Players

Full Deposit of $500 needs to be received by June 3, 2024

Team Fee - Non NABA League Team:

$1995.00 - Team fee for 15 Players

Full Deposit of $500 needs to be received by June 3, 2024

Team fee is for 15 player roster.  Additional players over 15 on allotted roster: $50 per player.

Any team that does not have their deposit in by June 3, 2024 will be taken on a first come, first serve basis to add their team to a division. 

NABA MEMBER DISCOUNT: Any team with 10 or more NABA players who are registered in the NABA registration system online in either 2023 or 2024 is classified as an NABA League team and is entitled to the NABA MEMBER DISCOUNT.

DEPOSIT DATE: A $500.00 non-refundable deposit must be received to reserve a spot in the tournament and to earn the discounts by the dates listed above.  If you are struggling with a deposit or with team funds, call us, and we will work out a payment plan to help get your team the opportunity to play baseball in the Northern California Firecracker.

ENTRY FEE INCLUDES: 3 guaranteed games, NABA Liability Insurance and a SECONDARY Medical policy for the team, fields, umpires, 3 baseballs for each game played per team, scorebook, lineup cards, tournament rules, team champion trophy, champion finalist trophy, individual champion awards, individual finalist awards for runner-up, championship game MVP award, championship game Silver Slugger award, and championship game Gold Glove award.

COMMEMORATIVE T-SHIRTS: Commemorative NABA Northern California Firecracker Tournament t-shirts are available for TEAM PURCHASE ONLY (no individual t-shirt order requests please). Teams interested in purchasing t-shirts may order them for $15.00 each.  To place an order,  please email nabapresident@gmail.com. TEAM ORDERS MAY BE PLACED AT ANYTIME.  However, if would like them to be available for the event, all team orders MUST be placed by June 3, 2024.

DEPOSITS: All teams must submit a non-refundable $500.00 deposit to reserve a place in the tournament. The balance of the team fee must be submitted by June 28, 2024. All fees sent by mail must be in money order or cashier's check form and sent to the address listed below. The NABA also accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Zelle, Venmo, and PayPal for your convenience at www.dugout.org.

Information pertaining to tournament rules, tiebreaker rules, eligibility rules, schedule requests, refund policies, hotel – car rental information, and schedules are posted there.

REFUND POLICY PRIOR TO TOURNAMENT: No refund will be given if the tournament bracket or schedule has been posted. If the schedule has not been posted and you call 15 business days before the tournament start date a full refund will be given minus the deposit.  If the schedule has not been posted and you call 8 to 14 business days before the tournament start date, 50 percent of your fee will be returned minus the deposit; if the schedule has not been posted and you call 7 or fewer business days before the tournament start date, no refund will be given.  After the managers check-in there are no refunds for players who did not show.
