Steve has been involved with the NABA since 1999 when he took his
Orioles team to the Las Vegas Over 50/60 Fun Tournament. He has since
been bringing his team and players from his community to attend the NABA
Spring Training Tournament, the Atlantic City Memorial Weekend
tournament, and the National Fun Tournament. Through Steve’s hard work,
dedication and inspiration, the NABA has become a formidable force in
providing the best amateur baseball tournaments in the country.
Steve’s commitment and support to the NABA has helped countless
individuals to play baseball in numerous NABA tournaments. Steve's
passion for the game of baseball in his community is unmatched. He
has sponsored numerous little league teams in the Northern Virginia area
and volunteers his time for the Diamond Dream Foundation. Steve is an
NABA "Good Will" Ambassador, a member of the Orioles Alumni Association,
and has received an award for the player who best accentuated baseball
spirit.
Thanks to Steve, Hundreds of players throughout the country have had
the opportunity to play and participate in the national pastime of
baseball through the National Adult Baseball Association.
Fittingly, Stephen J. Chadwick WAs elected as a member of the NABA Hall
of Fame in the year 2011. |
