CITRUS CLASSIC TOURNAMENT

(Wood Bat Tournament)

 

Tournament Information and Registration

 

DATES:                              Saturday, January 16 - Monday, January 18, 2010

                                             (Wood Bat Only)

 

DIVISIONS:                      18AA, 18A, 18 Rookie, 25-Rookie 

                                               

FORMAT:                         “Pool” Play consisting of 3 games, Semi-Final Playoff and Championship

                 PLEASE NOTE: Divisions will occur if four teams register by the entry fee deadline. 

         Divisions may be created or merged based on the number of teams entered.

            

PLAYOFFS:                        Semi-Final games either Sunday evening or Monday morning.

 

CHAMPIONSHIPS:          Monday, January 18, 2010

 

AWARDS:                          Champions:          Team champion award

             NABA Commemorative Individual Awards

 

                                             Runner-up:           Championship finalist award

             NABA Commemorative Individual Awards

 

Tournament Credits:  The winning champion of each division will receive a $700.00 credit to the 2010 Memorial Day Atlantic City Tournament.

 

 

ENTRY FEE:                      Team Fee:         $1,750.00

                                             Early Discount:  $   300.00 (If deposit is received on or before 12/18/09)          

         Team Fee:         $1,450.00 (If deposit is received on or before 12/18/09)

         Team Fee:         $1,750.00 (NO EXCEPTIONS:  If team fee is received after 12/18/09)

                                                                               

         NOTE:   No teams will be accepted after January 8, 2010.  Tournament         schedule will be completed on January 9, 2010.

                                               

                 *Team fee is for 15 players.  $50 for each additional player over 15

 

ENTRY INCLUDES: Entry fee includes: liability insurance for each team, fields, umpires, 3 baseballs for each            game played per team, commemorative tournament t-shirt, scorebook, line-up cards, tournament rules, $700.00 tournament credit certificate to Atlantic City Tournament for winning team, team champion trophy, team runner-up trophy, individual champion awards, individual runner-up awards, championship game MVP award, and championship game gold glove award.

 

DEPOSITS:               All teams must submit a non-refundable $500.00 deposit to reserve a place in the tournament.  The balance of the team fee must be submitted by January 8, 2010. Any team making more than 50% of the final payment at check-in will be subject to a $35.00 late payment fee.  All fees must be in money order or cashier check.  NO CHECKS ARE ACCEPTED.  The NABA also accepts VISA, MASTERCARD and AMERICAN EXPRESS for your convenience.

 

HOTEL:                     The National Adult Baseball Association is using the Best Western Palm Beach Lakes Inn as the host hotel for the Citrus Classic Tournament.  For further information, please visit our website at www.dugout.org.
