New product news
The NABA always is looking for baseball-related products to
offer its members, and we are excited about the new NABA-logo drawstring
backpack. The sport bag is made of soft, high-quality baseball leather, with
authentic baseball stitching. The durable bag also has a thick and absorbent

Big winners in Las Vegas & Atlantic City
Congratulations to the winners of the Las
Vegas and Atlantic City Memorial Day tournaments. Here
are the Las Vegas winners (with
division): San Diego Shockers (18 Wood), Mezcal (18 AA), San Diego Gamecasters (18 A), Chino Dodgers (18 Rookie), Denver Bears (25 Wood), Mexico (35 Wood), Ventura Mets (45 Wood). The Atlantic City winners

Upcoming EventsIt's not too late to register for the upcoming Mile High Classic in Denver and the Hall of Fame Tournament in Cooperstown. Those tournaments are beginning to take shape, so make you sure are not left out of these July 4th Weekend events. WOMEN'S TRYOUTS

USA Baseball will hold a series of tryouts across the
country as part of the selection process for its 2010 Women's National Team. Players will compete in one of six regional tryouts, and 30 will be selected
for the Women's National Team Trials, Aug. 2-6, at the USA Baseball National
Training Complex in Cary, N.C. Overall, 18 women will be chosen to represent
the U.S. in the IBAF Women's Baseball World Cup, which will be held in
Venezuela, Aug. 12-22. Each tryout will be held over a two-day (Saturday-Sunday) period, and
players can register for free on-site. The six regional sites: June 19-20 - Phoenix, Ariz. - Brophy College Preparatory June 26-27 - New London, Conn. - U.S.
Coast Guard Academy June 26-27 - Orlando, Fla. - The First
Academy: Orel Hershiser Baseball Field at the Payne Stewart Athletic Complex July 3-4 - Cary, N.C. - The USA Baseball
National Training Complex July 3-4 - Chicago, Ill. - Montini High School July 3-4 - San Francisco, Calif. - The

Play ball!  | In case you missed it, the NABA has started the Women's Fast-pitch Softball Association. The WFSA opened this spring with six teams in Denver and has several more leagues around the country already forming.
For more information, click on the WFSA logo and help spread the word about this exciting new league. The WFSA also is seeking league presidents around the country.

Support our Veterans
The NABA is proud to support Hope4Heroes, a program
established to provide assistance for veterans and their families. Hope4Heroes
is sponsoring several events this year, including the Wounded Heroes Baseball Classic. The event, in partnership with Major League Baseball Legends, will be played Sept. 4 in San Antonio
at Nelson Wolff Stadium, the home of the San Antonio Mission. Hope4Heroes is taking monetary donations on its site and
also is looking for donations of gloves, bats and baseballs for the wounded
