Playoff
Format
The top
team
with the
best
winning
percentage
/ best
record
from
each
pool
will
advance
to the
Championship
game.
Tiebreaker
rules
for the
playoffs
are as
follows:
(1)
overall
winning
percentage
or
record,
(2)
head-to-head
record,
(3)
total
runs
allowed,
(4)
total
run
differential,
(5) coin
flip.
All
teams
need to
be at
the
complex
where
their
division
will be
playing
at the
conclusion
of pool
play.
The
tournament
site
coordinator
along
with the
tournament
director
will
determine
the
championship
teams as
soon as
possible
after
the last
pool
game and
will let
each
team
know who
made the
championship
game.
Coaches:
Please
make
sure you
sign the
scorecard
after
every
game
with the
home
plate
umpire.
Standings
and
scores
results
will be
posted
at the
fields
and then
posted
online
at
www.dakotaridgebaseball.org
at the
end of
the
tournament.
Be
prepared
to start
the next
scheduled
game
early as
much as
20
minutes
if
possible.
The
umpires
will
inform
both
teams.
