MISSION

The Mission of the Dakota Ridge Baseball Association is to make a positive impact in the community and the lives of our children and youth by providing a quality baseball development program for the Dakota Ridge area and high school.  To  create an environment of leadership and role models, and to understand the importance of shaping the lives of our future leaders.

PURPOSE AND GOALS

1) To develop a grass roots community effort that is an advantage for the player, parents, high school and community of Dakota Ridge.

2) To have the future Dakota Ridge players support and attend current activities, camps, programs and schedules developed by Dakota Ridge baseball.

3) To give future Dakota Ridge players exposure to the high school coaches, their philosophies and their expectations.

4) To give Coaches consistency in the coaching and development of fundamental skills according to Dakota Ridge Baseball philosophies

5) To keep the funds required to run the program within the Dakota Ridge area to improve the facilities in which our future players are attending right now and to give them access to utilize the baseball fields in their own area.

6) To have the future Dakota Ridge players develop pride and desire to be a future Dakota Ridge High School Baseball player.

7) To provide future Dakota Ridge Baseball players an opportunity to play baseball with their future playing partners in a competitive baseball environment, and to aid Dakota Ridge High School in their efforts to build their program.

8) To increase the percentage of opportunity for those emerging from the Dakota Ridge Baseball Association to have made and play in the Dakota Ridge High School baseball program.

9) To acclimate potential future Dakota Ridge players to the Dakota Ridge High School system so that it is not foreign to them when they first start at the high school level.

10) To give future Dakota Ridge players exposure to the high school facilities and their current and active players.

11) Last, what is the system that most of the successful Varsity Baseball Programs in the country use year in and year out that helps improve their success?  It would be a professional High School Baseball Feeder Program. Without it programs can die. With a good feeder program coaches can develop very successful programs for years and be very well respected among players, parents, school administration and its peers.
