Welcome to Dakota Ridge Baseball Association
We would like to thank everyone who
registered to play in the Dakota Ridge
Baseball Association. More than 330 players
signed up to play youth and midget baseball
with the association and we look forward to
a successful inaugural season.
We had a successful weekend of tryouts,
and the DRBA would like to thank the Dakota
Ridge High School coaches for their
assistance. We also want to thank those who
volunteered at the tryouts both Saturday and
Sunday.
Each player who attended the tryouts should
be contacted by their respective coach or by
a Dakota Ridge director within the next few
days with information about their team. If
you do not receive a call from your coach or
director by the end of the week, please
contact the DRBA at DRBaseballAssoc@aol.com.
Also, the DRBA still is looking for
players to help fill out a few teams. Team
needs are as follows:
8-year-old Modified: 3-4
players.
10-year-old Level 3: 2 players.
12-year-old Level 2: 2 players.
If you know of any players who might be
interested in filling those slots,
please have them contact the DRBA at
DRBaseballAssoc@aol.com or
720-407-4359 as soon as possible. The
slots will be filled on a first-come,
first-serve basis.

Uniform Accessories
Per our last coaches meetings, all teams
will be required to wear white baseball
pants with navy blue pinstripes. As well,
each team is required to wear navy socks and
a navy blue belt.

South Jeffco Refunds
With the close of the DRBA registration
process we will be determining all refunds
to DRBA families from South Jeffco Sports
Association this week.
Refunds to each of the families will be
given by Dakota Ridge Baseball Association
after receiving the funds from South Jeffco.
DRBA decided to do this for our association
members to help save money to our
members for the withdrawal refund process.
We anticipate a date of February 23, 2008
for a refund to our association members.

Practices and Games
Practices for all teams ages 8-13 will not
begin until the first week of March. The
Foothills Parks & Rec Department does not
allow access to its fields until March 3, at
the earliest. Games for players in those age
groups also will not begin until the first
week of April.
For 14-year-olds, games can begin as early
as March 8. The DRBA is working on securing
practice fields for that age group as soon
as possible.
The DRBA will be contacting coaches in the
near future about practice field slots. The
DRBA respectfully requests that parents and
coaches do not contact the office about this
issue at this time, as no further
information is available.
Once practice fields are assigned, coaches
will be responsible for notifying parents of
times and locations.
Also, the Jefferson County Junior Baseball
League has asked that coaches and parents do
not contact it directly about issues. Any
questions should first be directed to the
DRBA. Thank you in advance for your

UNIFORMS AND CAPS
All Dakota Ridge Baseball Association coaches must
schedule an appointment with Foothills B&H
(303-986-9515) for your uniform sizing. B&H is
supplying uniforms for DRBA. Each player will
be provided an Augusta two-button navy jersey with white
side trim with a two-color "DR" printed on the front.
These jerseys are part of the registration fee. Players
will keep their uniforms after the season. B&H has set
up several options for teams that wish to upgrade their
uniforms, for an additional charge.
The DRBA also will supply a Dakota Ridge cap, which
is part of the registration fee. These caps will
come from the DRBA (not Foothills B&H) and will be
given to the coaches at a later date.
